Dispensing report: the drug dispensed report from your pharmacy system (.xls), Jan 1 to today. Wholesale purchase report: your wholesaler's invoice or product movement export (.csv), the full year. The store and its wholesale account are read from the files.
Every report you build is saved to your pharmacy's secure storage.
Selected month highlighted. A partial month shows as is.
Revenue by payer group. "Other plans" are insurance codes not yet mapped.
Units bought (packs × pack size) against units billed for the same 11-digit NDC. Billed more than bought is the PBM audit risk; bought but never billed is stock on the shelf or a wrong NDC on the claim.
Latest invoice unit cost × units billed. Medicare negotiated-price drugs (Eliquis, Jardiance and others) also get a separate Medicare Transaction Facilitator refund, so check refunds before treating those as losses.
A product billed under an NDC other than the one bought, or billed under several NDCs.
Top 10 by gross profit dollars, year to date, for drugs with a wholesale purchase on file and at least 3 fills. Profit = what was paid for the fills minus latest invoice cost × units billed. Brand vs generic is read from the wholesaler's trade and generic names, so branded OTC products count as brand.
Min = stock for refills due in the next 9 days (from last fill + days supply, with a 2-day order lead time and weekly review), plus this NDC's usual new-prescription rate. Max = min + one more week of average demand. Patient-specific items are better ordered against each patient's refill date. Actual inventory turns need a PrimeRx on-hand report.
Tell Pharma OS which payer each insurance code from your pharmacy system belongs to. It's saved for your pharmacy and regroups every report, old and new, with no re-upload. Codes you haven't set use a suggestion (Cash for C, Medicaid if the code has MCD, Medicare if it has MEDD or MCR).
Fills per 30 days. Stock up a month ahead of each season.
Products with at least 6 fills in a typical month whose units moved 50% above or 45% below their usual month.
